Contact WizardLoans
Need to contact WizardLoans? We are a free, online-only personal-loan comparison and matching service for Canadians — not a lender — and the fastest way to reach us is email. Whether you have a question about how matching works, our $100 to $5,000 loan options, IBV income verification, or an existing enquiry, we are happy to help.

Email Us
Send your question to info@wizardloans.ca and a member of our team will get back to you. To help us answer quickly, include a short description of what you need. For your security, please do not send sensitive personal, financial, or banking information by email.
How We Respond When You Contact WizardLoans
- We reply to email enquiries within 1–2 business days.
- We are an online service — there is no branch to visit and no call centre.
- We will never call, text, or message you out of the blue, and we will never ask for your online banking password. Income is confirmed only through secure, read-only Instant Bank Verification (IBV) when you choose to apply.
Before You Write: The Three Most Common Questions
Most messages we receive fall into three buckets, and all three have instant answers:
- “What’s the status of my application?” — Once you’re matched, your application lives with the lender you chose, and their portal or support line has the live status. We never see lender-side decisions, so the lender will always have fresher information than we do.
- “Can I change or cancel my loan?” — Also a lender question: payment dates, payouts, and changes are governed by the agreement you signed with them. Check the agreement first; the prepayment and date-change terms are usually on the first two pages.
- “Is this message really from you?” — If anyone claiming to be WizardLoans asks for an upfront fee, a gift card, or your banking password, it is not us. When in doubt, contact WizardLoans directly at the email above and ask — we would rather field a hundred double-checks than have one reader scammed. Forward the suspicious message if you can – reports like these help us and the regulators shut bad actors down faster.
We Are a Matching Service, Not a Lender
WizardLoans does not lend money or make approval decisions. We connect you with licensed Canadian lenders who offer personal loans from $100 to $5,000, repaid over scheduled installments. Loan approval, amounts, rates, and terms are set by those third-party lenders and comply with Canada’s 35% federal criminal interest-rate cap. Ready to see real offers? Start on our application page.
Privacy, Complaints, and Your Rights
When you contact WizardLoans, your message is used only to answer your enquiry — see our privacy practices for details on how application data is handled. If you have a complaint about a lender, raise it with the lender first; unresolved issues can go to your provincial consumer-protection regulator, and the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada publishes free guidance on borrower rights nationwide. We take reports about lender conduct in our network seriously — if something felt wrong, tell us.
What to Include When You Contact WizardLoans
One well-packed email beats three short ones. When you contact WizardLoans, include: the topic in the subject line (“question before applying”, “data request”, “report a suspicious message”), the general nature of your situation without account numbers or banking details, and the best email address for our reply. If you are asking about the service itself – amounts, IBV, how matching works – say where you are in the process so we can answer at the right level. We read everything; specific questions simply come back answered faster.
Why Email Only?
A fair question with an honest answer: we are a lean online matching service, and email keeps a written record that protects both sides. There is no phone queue to wait in, no call centre reading scripts, and – importantly – no legitimate phone calls from us out of nowhere. That last part is a security feature: because we never cold-call, any phone call claiming to be WizardLoans is automatically suspect, and you can treat it accordingly. The lenders you match with do have phone support for their own loans; their numbers are in your loan agreement and their portals.
Email also means you can contact WizardLoans at whatever hour suits you – shift workers and parents writing at midnight get exactly the same queue position as a Tuesday-morning message. Write in English or French as you prefer. If your question involves an attachment, screenshots of a suspicious message are welcome; documents containing account numbers, SINs, or banking credentials are not, and we will ask you to resend without them. The pattern behind all of these rules is the same one we apply to lenders: the less sensitive data moving around, the safer everyone is.
Response Times and Escalation
Standard replies go out within one to two business days, usually faster. If your message is time-sensitive – a suspected scam using our name, a privacy request, an error you have spotted on the site – say so in the subject line and we prioritize it. If you feel an issue has stalled, reply on the same thread rather than starting a new one; the history helps us fix things properly. And if your complaint is about a lender rather than about us, your provincial consumer-protection office is the formal escalation path – we will point you to the right one when you contact WizardLoans about a lender concern.
